Teri Is full-time small batch potter based out of Washington State. She specializes in functional, everyday ceramic-ware and has only ever worked through online sales, most of which are pre orders. In this live virtual workshop, you’ll learn all about the pre-order process. Teri will go over the pro’s and con’s of these kinds of sales, as well as delving into all of the most frequently asked questions about pre-orders!
Teri is a mother of 3 and started taking a few ceramic classes at her local community college when her youngest child was 2. Toting her toddler to the on-campus daycare several times a week, she was determined to learn what she needed from the college until she felt comfortable moving on to more self taught learning in her own home. After 5 months worth of classes she began her business in her homes attached-garage studio. From there she took on as many custom and wholesale orders as would come her way, until she gained enough exposure to begin selling her own personal curated designs through pre orders.
Now, 4 years after that first ceramics class, she has a very successful business and loves to share her passion, tips and tricks, and behind the scenes stories on her social media with her friends, followers, and fellow potters.
