Coil Build a Lidded Box with Mike Griffin - March 6th at 1pm EST
In this class we will learn all about the coil method of hand building. We will create a lidded box where we enclose the whole form then cut the lid and add a flange to hold it tight. We will touch on making a handle or a knob for the form and do some decorating as well.
Mike is a self taught potter from the upstate NY area. He has been featured in Ceramics Monthly and will also be in an upcoming Pottery Making Illustrated. His work has taken on a style of his own and is recognizable in the ceramics world. He loved to teach and has been teaching many in person and online workshops recently.
Once you purchase the workshop, you will receive an email with the Zoom link and any other info that you need before joining! You’ll receive a recording of the 1.5-2 hour session, as well, for 6 months of access.
