I recognize that it takes a lot to trust that you will learn something new and have your needs met in a virtual class. Don’t just take my word for it that you’ll love the classes I have to offer, listen to what past (and returning!!) clay lovers have to say!
I took my first online throwing class with Tzipporah, and it was so much better than I had even hoped for. It is difficult to tell what is legitimate when you see all these different classes and teachers online. Will they show you something new, will the technology work, will they move at a good pace? All of these were worries I had, and I'm sure many others do as well. I can say that the flow of the class was absolutely perfect. We covered many different subjects but never felt rushed. Tzipporah had a wonderful and welcoming nature that made it comfortable to ask questions, and the small class size meant she could focus on everyone's needs and situations. She is the ideal teacher; I would recommend her highly.
I signed up for my next class the exact same day, and I can't wait to get back to my wheel and try out the new techniques I've learned!

I recently took the lidded jar class with Tzipporah, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations! I have a little experience with lidded vessels but her tips and tricks took my lids to the next level!
Tzipporah is not only a skilled potter but also passionate about teaching. She provided clear, step-by-step guidance, easily understandable to those with limited experience OR those that have been throwing for years. She demonstrated many options for jars and lids and was ready to answer questions, making the learning process enjoyable and stress-free.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter, I highly recommend Tzipporah at Sipor Ceramics for a fulfilling and enriching pottery class.

I absolutely want to say thank you and tell you how much I enjoyed the chip& dip, platter class I recently took from you. I carelessly missed the correct night but immediately you sent me the link so that I was able to catch up!
I have not had much experience in platters so watching your expertise gave me the confidence I needed to give it try. Your explanations regarding why you do certain things made so much sense. Watching and listening to you allowed me to pickup things that I have not been doing correctly.
I am looking forward to taking the lidded jar class as soon as I get my schedule! Thank you again!

I am a newbie potter, just started in April of this year, and am self taught (with the help of some YouTube tutorials) I craved the studio / community feeling. I have a wheel at home for various reasons, but mostly because studios near me are limited, time is a precious commodity of which I don’t have a ton of extra, and I am enjoying this season of self discovery.
Tzipporah made sure the session was fun, relaxed, and all around just a positive experience for everyone attending. I never once felt judged for being new or self taught, I didn’t get eye rolls when I said that I am a stay at home mom, and it motivated me to be more consistent with my throwing. Also, it was fun to see what people were throwing that evening / the clay bodies being used. Everyone is so creative and it really just rubs off on you in the best way possible!
I will 1000% be signing up for more classes, and love that people are there because they want to be there, not because it’s the only place they can go to throw.

I’m a self-taught potter and work solely out of my little basement studio! When I saw class offerings from Tzipporah, I knew I had to give it a try! The first class I joined was nesting bowls which, lucky for me, turned out to be a 1:1 class! I really enjoyed the structure of the session and went to bed that night with a beautiful set of 3 bowls - plus I sent a photo to Tzipporah and she provided even more advice for me to continue to improve!! I actually feel more confident in just making bowls alone now too.
I also joined the closed forms class with 2 other at-home potters. This was something I was struggling with for so many months - no thanks to YouTube, my closed forms always turned out wonky. It was great to connect with other potters and leave the session with a cute little closed form - and energy to make many more in the future!
I am very much looking forward to more learning, fun, connection, and successful pottery!!

I took my first Schmooze & Throw session with Tzipporah and it was so fun. Connecting with fellow potters and chatting about our experiences was such a nice change of pace for me. Tzipporah has such a great energy and encourged the schmoozing to flow organically.
I am looking forward to the next one.

I first touched clay in late January of 2023 and have been hooked since. I’m completely self taught and have used YouTube as a resource but taking classes from Sipor Ceramics has really upped my game. Besides discussing the topic at hand these classes offer a lot of very useful basic tips. The zoom format works well and the social interaction is a bonus. Tzipporah is a great teacher and you really feel like you are in the room with her. I have taken 2 classes so far and already signed up for a third. I highly recommend taking a class whatever your skill level. It’s also great to be able to go back and watch the video for review. Thank you Tzipporah!
I highly recommend the closed form class with Tzipporah! The demo and instructional portion of the class was well thought out and organized. She demonstrated throwing a closed form pot and subsequently demonstrated trimming techniques. I was able to throw a closed form pot successfully after watching Tzipporah’s demo and trimmed it into a sugar bowl the next day. I used what I learned to also throw a lemon juicer, which was quite an accomplishment for me as a new potter (only a few months of experience throwing). Take this class; you won’t regret it!

I have been interested in learning the mechanics of making nested bowls and Tzipporah did not disappoint with her very clear, concise and successful class. From her explanations and hands-on demonstrations I know know have the knowledge for intentionally making a beautiful set of nesting bowls. As a retired art educator, I recognize not everyone is a teacher who can transfer their content knowledge to their students - Tzipporah is definitely a potter and teacher! Kudos!!!
